Dr. Jennifer Mcclendon
Dr. Jennie McClendon is a Lanett native and has practiced dentistry in the Valley area for more than 32 years. She attended Auburn University for three years before being accepted early into the UAB School of Dentistry. While in dental school, she received both the Excellence in Restorative Dentistry Award and the Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry Award for her graduating class. In 1994, she returned to her hometown to provide the Valley area with high-quality dental care.
She is a member of the Ninth District Dental Society, the Alabama Dental Association, and the American Dental Association, where she was recently honored with Lifetime Membership. Dr. McClendon has also been voted the Valley Times-News Readers' Choice "Best Dentist" and "Best Dental Office" for nine consecutive years (2018-2026).
She is married to her high school sweetheart, Jason McClendon of the Shawmut community. They have two daughters, Catherine and Elizabeth, both graduates of Auburn University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, working out, gardening, and fishing.
