Dr. Jennifer Lowe McClendon
Dr. Jennie McClendon is a Lanett native and has practiced dentistry for more than 31 years in the Valley. She attended Auburn University for three years and was accepted to UAB School of Dentistry a year early. She was the recipient of both the Excellence in Restorative Dentistry and the Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry awards for her class. She returned to her hometown in 1994 to provide the Valley Area with high quality dental care.
She is a member of the Ninth District Dental Society, the Alabama Dental Association, and the American Dental Association, where she was recently honored with the distinction of Lifetime Membership. Dr. McClendon has also been voted Valley Times News Reader’s Choice “Best Dentist” and "Best Dental Office" for eight consecutive years! (2018–2025)
She is married to her high school sweetheart, Jason McClendon of the Shawmut Community. They have two daughters, Catherine and Elizabeth, both graduates of Auburn University. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, working out, gardening, and fishing.
