Dr. Jennifer Lowe McClendon
Dr. Jennie McClendon is a Lanett native and has practiced dentistry for more than 28 years in the Valley. She attended Auburn University for three years and was accepted to UAB School of Dentistry a year early. She was the recipient of both the Excellence in Restorative Dentistry and the Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry awards for her class. She returned to her hometown in 1994 to provide the Valley Area with high quality dental care.
She is married to her high school sweetheart, Jason McClendon of the Shawmut Community. They have two daughters, Catherine, a graduate of Auburn University, and Elizabeth, a graduate student at Auburn University.
Dr. McClendon is an active member of Lanett First United Methodist Church, where she serves on the administrative board and participates in the handbell choir. She is a member of the Ninth District Dental Society, the Alabama Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. She has been chosen Valley Times News Reader’s Choice “Best Dentist” for 6 years in a row! (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023)
In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, working out, gardening, and fishing.
